Cookie policy
The short version
VeriKeep sets two cookies. Both are needed to make the product work, neither is used for advertising, and we do not track you across other websites.
That is why you have not been shown a cookie banner. The law requires consent for cookies that are not necessary to provide the service you asked for, and we do not set any.
The two cookies
| Cookie | What it is for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| Your sign-in session | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it you would have to enter your password on every screen. | Until you sign out, or the session expires |
| vk_sidebar | Remembers whether you collapsed the navigation panel, so it looks the same next time. Set only after you sign in. | One year |
What we do not do
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker anywhere in VeriKeep.
We do not sell or share your browsing behaviour, and there is nothing on this site that follows you to another one.
Errors and diagnostics
We use a service called Sentry to record technical errors so we can find and fix faults. It does not set an advertising cookie and does not track you between sites. It is listed in full on our sub-processors page.
Turning cookies off
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the sign-in cookie will stop you being able to sign in to VeriKeep at all, because it is what keeps you signed in.
